Oppo Reno15 & Reno15 Pro Launched in China: 200MP Camera, 6500mAh Battery Specs! (2025)

Oppo's New Flagship Duo: Reno15 and Reno15 Pro Unveiled in China - A Triple Camera, High-Performance Experience

Oppo has just dropped a tech bomb in the Chinese market with the launch of its Reno15 series, comprising the Reno15 Pro and the standard Reno15. These smartphones are packed with features that will surely turn heads and spark some lively debates among tech enthusiasts.

But here's where it gets controversial: both devices boast a triple rear camera setup, powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8450 SoC. Let's dive into the details and explore what makes these phones stand out.

The Reno15 sports a vibrant 6.3-inch AMOLED display, offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a crisp resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels. Imagine the visual feast you'll experience with a peak brightness of 3,600 nits! And that's not all; it also features an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security and convenience.

On the photography front, the Reno15's rear camera setup is a powerhouse. It boasts a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. For selfies, it packs a 50MP camera with autofocus, ensuring you always look your best.

Under the hood, the Reno15 packs a 6,200mAh battery, supporting rapid 80W wired charging. It also boasts a metal frame, IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings for durability, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. And it runs on Android 16-based ColorOS 16, providing a seamless and feature-rich user experience.

Now, let's talk about the Reno15 Pro. This flagship model ups the ante with a larger 6.78-inch flat display, offering a potential 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. It also provides the same peak brightness and in-display fingerprint sensor as its sibling.

The Reno15 Pro maintains the impressive triple rear camera setup and a 50MP front camera. But it takes the battery game to the next level with a larger 6,500mAh battery, supporting both 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The Reno15 Pro is slightly heavier at 205g compared to the 188g Reno15, but it's a small price to pay for the extra features and performance.

In terms of color options, the Reno15 comes in Aurora Blue, Canele Brown, and Starlight. Pricing starts at CNY 2,999 ($425) for the 12GB/256GB model, with higher storage options available at CNY 3,299 ($465) and CNY 3,599 ($505).

The Reno15 Pro, available in Canele Brown, Honey Gold, and Starlight, is priced slightly higher, starting at CNY 3,699 ($520) for the 12GB/256GB variant, and going up to CNY 4,799 ($675) for the 16GB/1TB model.

Both phones are currently available for pre-order on Oppo's official China online store, with sales commencing on November 21.

So, what do you think? Are these Oppo flagships worth the hype? Do the features and performance justify the price tag? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
